Our Roots
Bruce Mau is a designer, educator and writer. He founded Bruce Mau Design in Toronto in 1985. Since that time, BMD has grown, evolved and gained international recognition for its expertise and innovation across a wide range of projects achieved in collaboration with some of the world’s leading architects and institutions, artists and entrepreneurs, academics and businesses.
BMD’s design practice continues to be guided and inspired by the design thinking methods articulated by Bruce Mau andhis approach to creativity in The Incomplete Manifesto for Growth. He continues to be a leading voice in design – speaking, writing and inspiring through a variety of new projects.
